**Hematuria (blood in the urine)** means there's blood present in your urine, which might look pink, red, or brown, or be invisible to the naked eye (microscopic). It can stem from various causes, like urinary tract infections, kidney stones, certain medications, or, less commonly, more serious conditions. While seeing blood can be alarming, it's often treatable once the underlying cause is identified by a doctor. Staying well-hydrated generally supports urinary tract health.

I believe that optimal healthcare outcomes rest on a foundation of shared decision making and mutual respect between the patient and their provider. It is my priority from the beginning of every interaction that you feel seen and heard, and it is of the utmost importance to me that you and I end every appointment with a complete understanding of where we are now and where we plan to be tomorrow.
