Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a procedure to remove large kidney stones that are too big to pass on their own or be broken up by other methods. A surgeon makes a small incision in your back to access the kidney and remove the stone, helping relieve pain and prevent further complications. Recovery involves rest and adequate hydration.
