Varicocele
A varicocele is a condition where veins inside the scrotum become enlarged, similar to varicose veins in the legs. This might cause discomfort, swelling, or a feeling of heaviness, but often it has no symptoms. While the exact cause isn't fully understood, it’s thought to result from blood pooling in the veins. Generally, a varicocele is not serious, but if it leads to problems like pain or fertility issues, a doctor can offer treatment options. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and wearing supportive underwear might help manage symptoms.
