Hydrocele

A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac around a testicle, often causing swelling in the scrotum. It's usually painless and common in newborns, though it can affect males at any age. Hydroceles often resolve on their own, but persistent cases may require medical evaluation. Wearing supportive underwear and avoiding heavy lifting may help with discomfort. It's generally not harmful but should be monitored by a healthcare provider, and it may need surgical treatment depending on its size and symptoms.
