Circumcision - Adults
Adult circumcision is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the foreskin from the penis. It is often chosen for cultural, religious, or medical reasons. Key reasons can be cultural preferences or include recurring infections or tightness of the foreskin (phimosis). The procedure is generally safe but may require a couple weeks of recovery. Patients are encouraged to follow their doctor's advice on wound care and to avoid strenuous activities while healing.
