Urothelial Carcinoma of the Upper Tract
Urothelial carcinoma of the upper tract is a type of cancer that affects the lining of the kidneys or the tubes (ureters) that connect the kidneys to the bladder. The primary symptom is typically blood in the urine. Factors like smoking and chemical exposure can increase risk. Treatment options may include surgery, chemotherapy, or other therapies. This condition is often related to bladder cancer and may require evaluation of the bladder as well.
