TURBT Procedure
A Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor (TURBT) is a procedure to remove growths, often cancerous, from the bladder. Using a thin scope inserted through the urethra, it helps diagnose the type and stage of bladder cancer, which can cause symptoms like blood in urine. TURBT often removes the tumor and is a key initial step in treatment and diagnosis.
