High-grade non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is an aggressive cancer in the bladder's inner lining, not muscle. The main symptom is blood in urine; smoking is a major cause. Initial treatment often involves surgery and bladder-instilled medication like BCG. This condition describes patients who haven't had BCG or whose cancer returned after it. Quitting smoking is crucial for management.
