PSA Screening/ Elevated PSA

**PSA Screening/Elevated PSA** PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is a protein made by the prostate gland. An elevated PSA level in a blood test can indicate prostate cancer, but more commonly points to non-cancerous conditions like prostate enlargement (BPH) or inflammation. If your PSA is elevated, your doctor will discuss further evaluation to understand the cause and next steps.
