Prostate Biopsy

A prostate biopsy is a common procedure where small tissue samples are carefully taken from the prostate gland. It's typically performed to investigate concerns like an elevated PSA blood test or an abnormal physical exam, primarily to check for prostate cancer or other abnormalities. These samples are then examined under a microscope to help determine a diagnosis and guide next steps for your care.
