Appendicitis
Appendicitis is inflammation of the appendix, a small finger-shaped pouch connected to your large intestine. Symptoms often include sudden belly pain starting near the navel and moving to the lower right, nausea, vomiting, and fever. It's typically caused by a blockage and usually requires prompt surgery to remove the appendix.
